7 years ago a man with absolutely no skateboarding background had a vision. literally. like a movie download was inserted into his brain, founder Michael Francisco saw skateboarders going to war. Like Braveheart on skateboards, an army of skaters were mobbing down a city street as if they were invading an enemy camp. current day, that enemy is mental health and identity issues, loneliness, hopelessness, drug abuse and just about any other issue keeping someone from living out the life they should have. when we entered skateparks and started bringing food, we were just trying to love a community that was often the recipient of disdain. Little did we know that what we were doing was actually improving people’s mental states.

our health is holistic. spiritual health, mental health and physical health all work together to create a whole life. We have seen numerous lives change. from leaving drugs behind, to overcoming anxiety, people have been restored. we are in fact at war. we have an enemy. often outside of us, but also inside. that war is winnable. it’s going to take effort, resources and prayer…and we are willing to fight.
